Summer Bishil (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1985) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Margo for the role of Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired from 2015 to present. The actress was previously recognized for playing the role of an American girl aged 13 Jasira Maroun. She is subject to an emotional journey in set against the backdrop of the U.S. military invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. 2007 was the year she got selected by Variety to be one of their 10 actors they wanted to see. Her character was a powerful one Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 action drama Crossing Over for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category.
